What? This nine-week dynamic program run by Michael Leslie is designed to enable children to explore their self-identity, develop their confidence, performance skills, communication, and creativity while having fun!
The program will culminate in a community performance held at The Space in Wyong.

Who? Barudir Ngarang is open to children and young people between the ages of 8 and 12.
When? Barudir Ngarang will run for nine weeks, with a four hour a week time commitment. Term dates TBC
Where? The Space, 4 Church Street, Wyong.

Meet the facilitator: Michael Leslie MFA
Over the past 40 years, arts impresario Michael Leslie MFA has amassed an impressive career in the performing arts sector in Australia.
He was founding member of the National Aboriginal & Islander Skills Development Association (NAISDA) NSW before moving to the US to further his training with the world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre in New York. He graduated in 1983 with a Certificate in Dance.
Upon returning to Australia, Michael established performing arts institutions including Co-Founder of Black Swan Theatre Company (BSTC), Co-Founder of Marrugeku Physical Theatre Company,
Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) QLD and Founder of Michael Leslie Foundation for the Arts (MLFA). He also designed and delivered education and training programs for the BSTC and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
Michael completed a Masters in Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts UNSW Sydney in 2018.
